| The first show of the year has been
released. It's the July 11, 2000 New York show in the Bowery
Ballroom (CW00-07-11). It's a
very good sounding show that has been traded heavily via CDR by
collectors. I've put the show up for streaming. To make room,
I've taken down the Mayan show that included the Serafin show.

show to launch the stream |

| I have put up some TIF's of some CW Tabs
and thanks to Drew Yamashita we have the TXT versions these tabs. To
get to the tabs, click HERE I will be putting up more as time goes by, but I won't be putting up News about this any more. |

| The latest show has been
released and is now up for streaming! It's the Cleveland 93 show at
Peabody's (CW93-12-13). This
show is unbelievably clean and is a must. Make sure you get a copy
of this show! In the meantime, enjoy the stream! Because of the total amount of time (We are streaming nearly 4 hours of Live CW!), I've had to drop the bitrate from 160kbps to 128kbps. This means that there's a small drop in the quality (higher bitrate means better sounding), but the shows still sound good. Go to the
show to launch the stream |

| The second streamed show is now available.
As much request has been made for the New York show on June 14th, 2000 (CW00-04-14),
I've decided to make this one available.
Again, the files are all WMA, so you'll need either Windows Media Player or the full version of WinAmp that includes the Windows Media plugin. |

| Streaming is back up! To kick off
another round of streaming, the show that has been in the most demand will
be streamed. That's right, the Mayan (CW95-11-09).
This means that the Serafin show (S02-14-03)
will also be streamed! Again, thanks to Ben and his band for
allowing us to share this with all of the Catherine Wheel fans!
Maybe someone will pony up some of the new material that Rob has allegedly
been working on and we can get Merck to allow us to share it as well. Right now, all songs are in Windows Media format (WMA). You need either Windows Media Player or the full version of WinAmp. I apologize to the Mac Users out there who prefer MP3's |

| This week, Doc sent out the latest
release: The Mayan show. A very good all acoustic show played
in Los Angeles in 1995. This Permavine also included a little bonus,
Serafin with Ben Ellis. See the
show details for more information. A note about our Streaming server. It is currently down. Efforts are being made to bring it back to life. I will let everyone know once it is up and the show is streaming. |

| I have updated the MSN Music links since they released a new version of their player and website. It's a little better AND you can write your own reviews. | |

| The Salt Lake show was recently released
and the site has been updated.
In addition to the show being released, we have started streaming the show! You can listen to the show in glorious 160 Kb/s or an okay 32 Kb/s. If you have a broadband connection (you have the bandwidth to handle a wide stream), I recommend the 160 Kb/s. Go to the Show to launch the stream |

| I have added a bunch of links from
MSN
Music. These links are for the CW artist page and all of their album
pages. I've also included the Stations for CW and their Albums, in
addition to other stations that I've found play CW. Check it out on
the Links page. Here's a little update on the streaming side project. We will be streaming the most recent vine in it's entirety. We also may have enough space to stream portions of other shows as well. This will make it possible for those who don't yet have the show to enjoy them. Expect the stream to be available sometime next month. |

| Merry Christmas, Happy Honokaa, Happy
Holidays! Scott has worked hard and has brought forth the fruits of
his efforts! The 97 Salt Lake Show! This is nice for me, cause
I was there!
Some people have been making some good suggestions, such as putting up the entire show on a web server capable of extremely high transfer limits. Currently, this is not possible from this site. HOWEVER, if you have a server (ftp or web) and no hard-line limits, please contact me. Until then, I plan on trying to stick up some streaming songs using my services streaming media server (it'll be Windows Media). Look for updates on this. |

September 11, 2001 |
| At 8:48 eastern standard time, terrorist begin an attack on the free world by flying a commercial airliner jet into the north tower of the World Trade Center, in New York killing hundreds. In the following crashes, thousands would loose their lives to this senseless act of violence. This is a day that everyone in the world will remember as a day of sadness. | |

| The test site is up. There are 3 shows listed and are in circulation. Doc is working hard at getting more up. Most of the links at the bottom go to stub pages (nothing on them). As soon as I get content from the team, I'll complete the pages (this page, for example, is what I hope it will look like) | |
